Donations
Vale Community Hospital League of Friends
We receive donations from grateful patients in the hospital or relatives, and also hold events through the year to raise money. We have a shop in a room off the main reception where we sell donated items and hold coffee/cake mornings several times a year.
We raise money by organising and running a wide range of events across the area and by seeking donations or legacies.
We do not provide things that the NHS can and should provide.
Please contact us for ways to donate.
Volunteering
We are all volunteers on the Committee and normally have a committee meeting every two months except in August and December. If required we meet more often.
We have a shop in a room off the main reception where we sell donated items and hold coffee/cake mornings several times a year. We also have a band of volunteers who also help us in the hospital and at events.
We would be delighted to hear from you if you wish to be involved, either as a volunteer helper or simply a member.
Please contact us for more details.
Wills and Legacies
Gifts come in all sizes from small personal donations to the value of an estate (or share of) being left to us. Every gift is highly valued and important to us.
We spend monies raised on items requested by the hospital which wouldn’t be funded by the NHS. Under “Achievements” there is a list of some, but not all, of the items we have provided.
Please contact us for more details.
